Baby's maternity bag
If packing for you as a mother seems to be just a necessary thing, procuring the items that announce the arrival of the baby is certainly one of the greatest pleasures in the world, mixed with a lot of excitement and sweetness...
Even if some maternity hospitals provide the necessary items for the newborn's stay in the hospital for the first days of life, you will still need the same items as soon as you get home. So, here's what you should pack for your future little "wonders" for the minimum 3 days in hospital:
Newborn babies' nappies, suitable for the season in which they will be born, made of natural materials (cotton), washed and ironed beforehand:
For nappy changing, your baby may need 6-8 nappies a day, sometimes as many as 10:
- Diapers and wet wipes for newborns and babies
- Cream for prevention of diaper rash and diaper rash (absorbent blankets)
For daily hygiene, bath:
- Baby towel with hood (hoodie)
- Special 2-in-1 baby shower gel & shampoo and baby body cream (lotion) or massage oil
- Saline and sterile compresses
- A season-appropriate set of clothes for leaving the hospital and a shell for the car (which Daddy will bring at discharge)
